"Well, there you have it folks! The long road, has finally come to an end with this my latest release and what a journey it was!
For every single person reading this now, can I begin by sending you my heartfelt thanks for your support over my career and for kindly purchasing this, my 10th and final album.. I have taken the decision to only print a limited run of this album as most music is consumed online these days! Hopefully it will add to your collection of Rhydian albums and, who knows, maybe one day it will become a collectors item ! My team and I have created a double disc deluxe CD with a 16 page booklet with album notes and new photographs for your enjoyment making it the most luxurious product I’ve ever released.
You have given me an immeasurable amount of joy through the experiences I’ve had at the highest level of being a professional singer. Without your support, none of this would have been possible. I’m incredibly proud of this ‘Very Best Of My Life’ Album. It is a collection of songs that I think best displays who I was as a singer, and each one of the 28 songs has its own story. The wealth of talent that has contributed to these recordings is unparalleled. From the very top producers in the world, to songwriters to orchestras, arrangers and some very special guests. This album alone features some of the greatest producers of all time, including Walter A, Desmond Child, Steve Mac, Humberto Gatica, Max Martin, Ben Robbins, Karl Jenkins, Nigel Wright and many more. Most artists would only dream of working with such a symphony of greats! I want to thank them all.
I would like to thank all of those fans who have stood by me over the years and who have travelled thousands of miles to see me perform. I hope this album brings back many memories for you all. I wouldn’t be sitting here now as a Double Platinum,Gold, Two times Number 1, Classical Brit nominee with 10 albums to my name if it wasn’t for you guys and Simon Cowell who had the initial belief in me.
So that’s it folks! This marks the end of an incredible first half of my life as a recording artist and performer. I look forward to what life has in store for act two but, for now, may I thank you all again and enjoy the music! It’s been the honor of my life to have the opportunity to share with you the gift of music and song. May I end with a Tom Petty quote that rings true for me also.
